Standing in Midsummer Fire 4-nights Sacred Plant Spirit Retreat July 23-July 27, 2026 Fee: $ 2000 Midsummer’s blazing light reveals what other seasons hide. This is no time for timid steps – the heat of the midsummer fire challenges us to unapologetically embrace our power.
We will gather as a small community of 8-12 souls in a natural setting near Toronto (location TBA) to learn from sacred plant medicines and the energies of Summer (South direction on the Medicine Wheel and its element of Fire.) The South teaches us that true healing cannot live only in the realm of thought—it must move through our hands, our laughter, our dancing feet. The fire purifies and also reveals; what burns away leaves behind that which is true, that which wants to live on and blossom. This direction also holds its sacred shadow—the temptation to mistake motion for meaning, use busyness to avoid depth. The fire asks: Will you let yourself be warmed, or will you only ever stand at the edge of its glow? Will you discover your true joy, your true pleasure, your true dance? This is the season where shadows no longer hide but stand illuminated—not to shame us, but to show us where we’ve been withholding our own radiance. Group is limited to 12 souls (to preserve intimacy of experience). |
Upcoming retreat:
Between Light and Dark- Autumn Retreat The Alchemy of Transformation 2-nights Sacred Plant Spirit Retreat November 27-29, Friday-Sunday, 2026 Fee: $ 2000 The Teachings of Autumn Autumn is the season of the Adult, the West, the body, and the waters of deep feeling. It is the time of the Bear—who teaches us to turn inward, to descend into the cave of our being, and to find wisdom in the darkness. This is a season of alchemical transformation: shadow work, releasing, and surrender. As the leaves release their hold, we are asked: What are we ready to let go of? In the waters of autumn, we trust the descent—knowing we are held, transformed, and prepared for rebirth. We will gather as a small community of 8-12 souls in a natural setting near Toronto (location TBA) to learn from sacred plant medicines and the energies of Autumn. In the direction of the West, the shadow is emotional overwhelm—drowning in grief, losing ourselves in the waters of feeling. It is despair masquerading as surrender, isolation disguised as turning inward. It is clinging to old wounds, refusing to release what no longer serves. And it is disembodiment—living in the head, numb to the wisdom of the body. To walk through autumn is to meet these shadows with compassion, to name them, and to remember that they are not who we are—only what we are passing through. This retreat is open to anyone who hears the call (90-min individual preparation session is required and included in the total fee, as well as one group preparation session online) This retreat may also be a stepping stone for those who are considering our “Dream Horses” a five months experiential program starting in January, 2027 Group is limited to 12 souls (to preserve intimacy of experience). |
