DREAM HORSE
The Path of Sacred Plants, Shamanic Wisdom & Inner Healing Winged Pegasus and the Spirit Horses of Indigenous traditions traverse worlds. They breathe freedom, awaken vision, and stir the creative fire of the soul. We call upon their presence as the guiding force of this journey—to carry us across unseen landscapes, to reveal where our wings are bound, to attune us to their refined sensitivity, and to share in their untamed and luminous power. A Five-Month Experiential Journey January–May 2027 Dream Horse is an intimate, experiential journey into sacred plants, shamanic wisdom, dream work, constellation work, and inner healing. Over five months, we explore the landscapes of consciousness through direct experience, cultivating a deeper relationship with our own inner medicine and with the subtle intelligence of the natural world. The journey unfolds through two four-day retreats, four full-day gatherings, and a series of shorter in-person and online sessions, creating a rhythm of immersion, integration, and continued exploration. At the heart of the program is a guided and intentional relationship with sacred plant medicines, approached with preparation, reverence, discernment, and care. The deeper plant-medicine experiences take place within the retreat setting, surrounded by time for integration, dream work, constellation work, rest, and reflection. Between retreats, participants may also choose to explore a gentle, intentional relationship with plant allies at a more subtle level, allowing the work to continue unfolding in everyday life. Together, we create a powerful learning and transformational cauldron: first honouring and brewing our own medicine which, with the help of Plant Spirit Allies and Spirit itself, may then illuminate the way for those who come to sit by our fire. We work humbly with the Mystery, learning to listen more deeply, develop our intuition, and navigate paths beyond conventional understanding. The Heart of the Journey Your Inner Medicine Discover and develop the unique soul gifts already within you. Through personal healing, dream work, archetypal exploration, inner visioning, embodiment, and soul-based self-inquiry, we explore the medicine that is uniquely yours. The journey is not about acquiring something from outside ourselves, but about remembering and embodying what is already alive within. Sacred Relationship with Plant Allies Cultivate an ethical, reverent, and experiential relationship with sacred plant traditions and the natural world. Plant medicines are approached as teachers, allies, and catalysts for exploration, rather than simply as substances producing altered states. Through preparation, ceremony, direct experience, reflection, and integration, we explore sensitivity, discernment, humility, and relationship with the living world. The program includes guided plant-medicine journeys within the retreat setting, together with ongoing preparation and integration. Dream Work & Shamanic Journeying Dreams and shamanic journeys open doors into landscapes that are often inaccessible through ordinary waking consciousness. We explore dreams not simply as psychological material, but as potential sources of guidance, initiation, healing, and relationship with the deeper layers of psyche and Spirit. Through shamanic journeying, we develop the capacity to listen, encounter, explore, and bring what we discover back into ordinary life. Constellations & the Living Field Constellation work is an essential part of this journey. We explore the relational, ancestral, and systemic dynamics that shape our lives—some visible, some hidden, and some carried through generations. Constellation practices offer an opportunity to make these dynamics more visible and experiential, allowing new perspectives, movements, and possibilities to emerge. Shamanic & Mystical Navigation Explore ways of perceiving and relating to subtle realms through shamanic cosmology, mystical practice, intuitive development, and direct experience. We explore practices of discernment, energetic awareness, journeying, synchronicity, and relationship with Spirit. The emphasis is not on adopting a particular belief system, but on developing the capacity to listen, discern, and remain grounded while exploring expanded states of consciousness. The Rhythm of the Journey The journey unfolds through alternating periods of immersion and integration. The four-day retreats provide deep containers for plant-medicine work and transformation, while the full-day and shorter gatherings create space to digest, explore, and embody what emerges. Some sessions will be carefully structured; others will leave room for the intelligence of the group and the moment to guide us. The intention is to create a living container in which the work can unfold organically rather than following a rigid curriculum. The Retreats Two Four-Day Seasonal Retreats The retreats are important turning points in the five-month journey. Winter Retreat · February 19–22, 2027 A four-day immersion with one guided plant-medicine journey, surrounded by spacious time for integration, dream work, constellation practices, rest, and deepening into the group field. Spring Retreat · April 16–19, 2027 A second four-day immersion with one guided plant-medicine journey, offering space to deepen, integrate, and explore what has emerged through the journey so far. The retreats will take place in dedicated private retreat settings, allowing us to create greater spaciousness, privacy, and a distinct container for the work in a natural setting near Toronto. Full-Day Gatherings Four full-day gatherings are woven through the journey:
They are not primarily about introducing more content. Some parts will be intentionally structured; others will remain open enough for us to respond to what wants to unfold. The Journey Between Retreats The work does not stop when we leave the retreat. For those who choose, we explore ways of maintaining a gentle and intentional relationship with plant allies between gatherings, supported by preparation, reflection, integration, and ongoing group connection. This may include attention to:
The Group Container Dream Horse is fundamentally relational. Through dyadic and group practices, we learn to listen deeply, witness one another, explore different perspectives, and remain present with what emerges. The group becomes part of the medicine. At times we may work in pairs or small groups; at other times we will work together as a whole. The intention is to cultivate a field of trust, loving presence, curiosity, honesty, and compassionate discernment. Because of the intimate nature of the work, the journey will be limited to approximately 6–8 participants. Experiential Learning This is a hands-on, heart-centered journey. Rather than primarily learning about shamanism, plant allies, dreams, or consciousness, we emphasize direct experience. The work may include:
Who This Journey Is For Dream Horse is not exclusively for healers or practitioners. It is for people who feel a deep call to explore consciousness, inner healing, sacred plants, dreams, shamanic practice, and the deeper dimensions of relationship. You do not need to be a therapist, healer, or practitioner to participate. What matters is a capacity for self-reflection, relational awareness, emotional responsibility, and genuine curiosity. Because the work is intimate and experiential, we are looking for participants who can engage respectfully and thoughtfully with others, communicate openly, navigate differences, and take responsibility for their own process within a group. We want to create a group in which people can meet one another with maturity, openness, respect, and relational awareness. A good fit may be someone who:
Before Joining Dream Horse Because of the depth and intimacy of this work, we want to make sure that the program is a good fit for each participant—and that each participant is a good fit for the group. Before entering the full five-month journey, we ask prospective participants to have a plant-medicine journey with us (any time before December, 2026) This initial experience gives us an opportunity to meet one another, become familiar with our approach, and feel together into whether the deeper Dream Horse journey is the right fit. It also allows prospective participants to experience the way we work before making a commitment to the full five-month container. Participants are also expected to have access to their own personal support network throughout the program. This might include a psychotherapist, counsellor, healer, physician, or another appropriate professional or trusted support person. The Dream Horse container is designed for exploration, learning, transformation, and integration. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical care, or other individual treatment. Each participant remains responsible for attending to their own physical and psychological wellbeing and for seeking appropriate outside support when needed. Our role is to hold and guide the group journey—not to take responsibility for an individual's ongoing mental or physical health. First Cohort Graduation, 2025-2026
Dear Sacred Medicine Friends,
Yesterday was the last day of our first cohort of the 6-month Dream Horse Program. It has been an honour and such a joy to hold space for a small group walking together through the gates of dreams, synchronicities, shamanic drum journeys, constellations and two 5 -days sacred medicine retreats.
Our intention was simple and, in a way, radical: to place the subtle realms—so often ridiculed or marginalized in dominant culture—at the centre of our lives. Through the medicine wheel, we explored more consciously the energies of day and season, life stages, elemental forces, spirit guides, and a deeper sense of wholeness.
We were guided by an experiential knowing that holding space in sacred medicine journeys is, in many ways, a priestly task. It calls for shamanic sensibilities—engaging intuition, inner sight, and the perception of subtle energy. It invites us to recognize that all of creation is alive and conscious, and that each soul walks a unique path. And again and again, we were reminded that we are not holding space alone—we are accompanied by ancestors, spirit guides, the spirit of the medicine, and, mysteriously, many aspects of our own multidimensional selves.
It has been our experience that this cannot be learned from books and lectures alone.
One has to step into the realm of imagination, energy awareness, and intuition—and bring back one’s own lived experience, which often gently (or not so gently) reshapes the way we see the world. So in this first incarnation of Dream Horse, we spoke less and practiced more.
We tracked our dreams and shared them. We re-entered them together—not to extract dry meanings, but to meet dreams as living, multidimensional portals, full of feeling, guidance, teachings, and sometimes even prophecy. We opened to the language of synchronicity, noticing how life is always speaking to us. We explored relationship—with a tree, a rock, a river—whether encountered in waking life, in dreams, or in the space of a medicine journey. We played with inner realm with the help of constellation method in which inner images and processes are made visible when represented by other group members.
There was a sense of play, of magic, of awe. At times it felt like rediscovering the innocence of a child.
And also—this was not a walk in the park.
There were tears. There were moments of meeting fear, trauma, shame, and confusion. There was the ongoing practice of finding one’s seat in the midst of it all. We felt deeply touched and honoured to witness the level of trust that grew in the group, and the sacredness of the container that was created together.
One of our central intentions was to support each participant in recognizing their own medicine as primary. Not as “sitters” for someone else’s journey, but as sacred space holders. As elders remind us: the deepest medicine is not in the cup—it is within.
In our closing ceremony, we walked the medicine wheel one by one, speaking words of recognition to each other:
“I see your medicine!”
This time, naming the qualities that had revealed themselves over the six months—qualities that could now be felt, trusted, and even enjoyed.
A thousand of thank yous to each and all of our Dream Horses (as we came to call our participants with much affection)—for your depth of commitment, your trust, your incredible honesty, your love, and your willingness to stay with what is real rather than what is easy. Thank you for allowing us to share what is most dear and meaningful in our lives.
This offering is for those who feel a genuine call to walk this path—not only with curiosity, but with sincerity and devotion. For those who are willing to step beyond surface understanding into lived experience, and to be part of an intimate (3-6 people) committed circle.
If you feel something stirring as you read this, we invite you to get in touch.
With love,
Lalita and Katherine
